# How to start with MLife for a beginner?

Is there any step-wise guidance on how to effectively use MLife? Maybe with some trial examples? Or some related previous posts?

Dear @Kashyap.Subham.

In the MLife archive ([MLife | Wind Research | NREL](https://www.nrel.gov/wind/nwtc/mlife.html)), there are many examples in the _CertTest_ directory. A full user guide and theory manual are also available. And there have been many discussions on this forum about how to use MLife, including input `LUlt`, which often causes confusion.
