# If there is a 10MW SPAR or TLP OpenFAST model?

Hello

Firstly is anybody aware of a 10MW SPAR or TLP OpenFAST model (currently my work has focused on the 10MW semi-sub model but would like to expand my research to TLP and SPAR FOWTs)

If there is a 10MW SPAR or TLP OpenFAST model can somebody send a link to the files of the model please

Dear @Cameron.Simpson,

I’m not aware that spar or TLP floating substructure for a 10-MW wind turbine is available in the public domain, at least from NREL.

Sorry to pick up such an old topic, but is ther any example of a platform with a TLP available to the public other than the “5MW\_TLP\_DLL\_WTurb\_WavesIrr\_WavesMulti” r-test file?

Dear @Pere.Palacin,

NREL has studied other TLP-based floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) systems in OpenFAST, but none of these other models are available in the public domain. The NREL 5-MW baseline turbine atop the MIT/NREL TLP is the only public-domain OpenFAST model of a TLP-based FOWT that I’m aware of.
