Mean tower top fore-aft displacement in IEA 3.4 MW onshore wind turbine

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently working on the IEA 3.4 MW onshore wind turbine model.

Under a stochastic mean wind speed of 11.4 m/s using the Normal Turbulence Model (NTM), and based on a single simulation seed, I obtain a mean tower-top fore-aft displacement of 0.0105 m (10.5 mm).

Could you please let me know whether this value of 10.5 mm seems reasonable to you? From my perspective, it appears rather small.

That’s certainly too small. Make sure that the turbine is producing power. Check thrust. You are close to rated, and thrust should be maximum
