What I must do to run FAST for NREL OC3 with constant output power (not constant Torque) control strategy?

To change the torque controller of the OC3-Hywind model from a constant torque to constant power control strategy for above-rated operation, you must modify the DISCON.f90 source file and then you must recompile the DISCON.dll. This should not be very difficult. The DISCON.f90 source file supplied with the OC3-Hywind model is based on a simple modification to the baseline control of the NREL 5-MW turbine, which did have a constant power control strategy for above-rated operation. Search for the comments starting with “!JASON:” to see what changes were made.
