I am running the 5MW_OC3Mnpl_Sld_REDWIN.fst with SoilDyn for the simple stiffness/damping matrices mode (1). From an FFT of the tower top displacement, I am seeing that the natural frequency I get is around 0.27Hz, but from the OC3 publications, we expect a natural frequency of around 0.245Hz. Do you know why this discrepancy may be?
Also, is there a version that implements the distributed springs from the OC3 projects either in SoilDyn or SubDyn that I can reference? I know that may be a bit outdated, but if there was an example that would be appreciated. Thanks!
