Dear Jonkman,
In the past[ Issue with the blade azimuth angle measurements (B1Azimuth) reported - Wind & Water / Structural Analysis - NREL Forum], you mentioned that the azimuth of the blade (rigid body rotation) needs to be set from the ElastoDyn, but the ElastoDyn only has the azimuth of the rotor. What if you want to directly obtain the azimuth of a specific blade?
Dear @Weiliang.Liao,
From ElastoDyn, the azimuth angles of each blade can be derived from the azimuth angle of blade 1 (Azimuth) as follows:
Azimuth_B# = Azimuth + ( # - 1 ) * ( 360deg ) / NumBl for # = 1,2,…,NumBl
Best regards,
Thank you very much!
