Wind coefficients for the 22MW semisub

Good morning,

I am trying to obtain the wind force and wind moment coefficients for the exposed part of the semisubmersible (that supports the 22 MW IEA WIND TURBINE). My question is whether somebody has obtained these since i am finding complications to get these. I need these to conduct simulations.

I’m not aware of a report that documents this.

We are working on an update to OpenFAST that enables aerodynamic loading in AeroDyn on multi-member support structures (in addition to monotowers already supported by AeroDyn), including aero-elastic coupling between AeroDyn and the multi-member substructure structural dynamics module SubDyn. With this functionality, you’ll be able to calculate the aerodynamic loads on the exposed part of a semi-submersible directly, but this functionality is not available yet.
